Celebrate Dubai and Marco Polo F&B Win

It  was quite a party frenzy all over Dubai last night as people from all over the world, expats, tourists and UAE nationals of course, celebrated the most anticipated win for the Expo 2020 bid. Celebrations and cheers were heard as far as the next emirate starting with fireworks  at the magnificent Burj Khalifa , majestic in blue this time , the color theme of Dubai's EXPO 2020 bid. Congratulations Dubai!

In another party not so far away, the Marco Polo team was in a frenzy of the similar kind. Last night was awards night for What's On Awards, an annual gathering of Dubai's top F&B suits , all excited to capture the prize and recognition of being voted best by the public. Party started at around 7:00pm with everyone busy checking updates on the ongoing Expo bid voting,  awaiting news of the results expected around 8:30pm. And sure enough the peeps at the World Trade Center erupted when the good news was announced. Quite a wonderful start to a magical evening for Marco Polo Hotel when two not one but two of our F&B outlets won top prize in the Favourite Restaurants category. Chopstix, Favorite Chinese Restaurant and Kitakits, Favorite Pan Asian Restaurant. We were ecstatic of course! Nothing can compare to the feeling of being validated for something you work so hard for to achieve. I'm sure the EXPO 2020 Committee of Dubai can relate.
