Frightnight at Marco Polo Hotel

Halloween is really up there in our list of favorite holidays! Last Friday was witness to that as we had simultaneous parties in two of our very famous outlets for the party hungry crowd of Dubai , Beyond El Rancho and Kitakits Kafe.

From Glow Party to R&B - Marco Polo Events

Last Friday , September 11, Marco Polo was host to 2 musical events

Rhythm and Blues with Geoffrey FernandoBeyond El Rancho

Music lovers flocked to El Rancho last Friday night as Mr Geoffrey Fernando once again amazed us all with his singing prowess and charisma. With a line up of the best R&B songs, Geoffrey took everyone on a wonderful ride down memory lane and grooved to a beat that we actually can relate to.

It was completely SRO at Kitakits for the Glow Party with DJ Jennifer Lee.And even if you were one of the lucky ones to get a table and seats, you still wouldnt really use it as the sexy siren from the Philippines kept every one dancing to her beats. Keeping the energy up with her impressive line up of mixes all through the sets.

The Merry March at MPH

March is brimming with so much activities even the weather is all muddled up.( If you haven’t noticed we’ve had sandstorms, rain showers, and even hail) . Start of the month had us laughing out loud with the hilarious trio from the Philippines for a one night show titled “Kami Na Naman”  at the Kitakits Kafe & Klubb. Twas quite a successful evening, I hear part two is in the works. This was followed a week later by the rockers in the house, Philippine alternative rock band YANO for a 2 night gig, 14 & 15 March.  My ears are still ringing. Good thing my eardrums got a weeks rest before the next show comes to town. This time, its darling duo MYMP for 2 nights of electrified acoustic entertainment. Shows on 28^th and 29^th March, Friday and Saturday , 10pm.
