New Guinness World Record For Dubai

The sunny weather of January 4th helped spell the days success when our very own Marco Polo Hotel chefs joined in the foray and mingled to help create the new world record for the Largest Gathering of Chefs. Donning their crisp clean uniform and infectious smiles, our chefs and all their fellow chefs present on that occasion were the proudest at that moment when the Guinness Records Officials and Adjudicator officially announced that Dubai had successfully achieved a new world record feat.

We are mighty proud of the City of Dubai for coming up with this ingenious idea and we look forward to participating once again in other activities that the organizers Dubai Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) and The Emirates Culinary Guild (ECG) will concoct in future.

SPECTRUM NURSERY –MEET THE CHEF

One Thursday morning last September, Marco Polo Hotel was treated to shrieking delights as the little kiddos of Spectrum Nursery ,headed by Madam Jyothi Puani, came to meet Marco Polo Hotel Executive Chef, Chef Sunil Wagh. As part of their school activity, the students have been going around town to meet people from different professions. From policemen, firemen, doctors and nurses, the children learned of the different people in the neighborhood.

Aren't they adorable?

Chef Wagh met and gave the kids a tour of the hotel.

Especially the Kitchen where Chef does all his magic.
From cute heart shaped sandwiches and delicious mini cupcakes,
everyone had fun eating the special treats Chef had prepared.

Marco Polo executives receive a Big Thank You card from our young friends from  Spectrum Nursery.  But it really should be us thanking you.
